COVID-19 FAQS

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING TO CREATE SAFE AND HYGIENIC VENUES ONCE YOU REOPEN?

Northcote Social Club will be deep cleaned, sanitised and reset in line with the Victorian Government Hospitality Guidelines, and our Covid Safe Plan. There will be physical distancing between tables, lots of handwashing stations and table service so you don’t have to wait in line at the bars.  

WHEN WILL YOU BE OPEN AGAIN?

From Wednesday 28th October our venue will be open and ready to welcome you back  

DO I HAVE TO WEAR A MASK?

Yes, you will be required to wear a mask as a condition of entry. Our staff may ask you to remove your mask momentarily so we can confirm your ID for entry, which is in line with DHHS standards. Masks must be worn when moving around the venue. Masks can be removed once you are seated at the table so you can eat and drink.

HOW MANY CAN WE BOOK FOR?

You can currently have up to 10 people on a table, including children. Bookings are recommended.

WILL YOU TAKE OUR DETAILS ON ENTRY?

Yes, we will be required to take your details for contact tracing, they will be kept safely for 28 days and not used for any other purposes

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO DO?

Stay home if possible, wash your hands regularly, wear your mask when leaving the house, maintain social distancing and continue doing the right thing so we can see you soon.

Can we still pay with cash?

Our preferred payment is contactless card payment, please note, our ATMs are currently not in service.    

Will you have the footy on?

Yes! We will be showing the footy where we can.  Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like to be near a screen but please be reminded that bookings are only for 2 hours so we will have to work around that time frame the best we can until the restrictions lift further.  

What else do I need to do?

Wash your hands regularly, maintain social distancing, don’t come in if you feel unwell and have a bloody good time!

What should I do if I experience antisocial behaviour in the venue?

The Northcote Social Club strives to create a safe & inclusive space for everyone. If you experience antisocial behaviour in the venue please don’t hesitate to speak to a staff member.

Will you be screening the footy, cricket, soccer, special sporting events?

We’ve got Fox Sports and show all of the AFL games live in season and any other sports worth drinking beer to the rest of the time.

I’m a Music Victoria, RRR FM or PBS FM subscriber, how do I redeem my discount?

The NSC offers 10% off food & drinks for all Music Victoria, RRR FM & PBS FM members to say thanks for supporting our local music community. All you need to do is show your card at the bar at time of purchase to redeem. **Offer excludes functions & already discounted items.

Can I purchase tickets over the phone?

Due to Covid-19 restrictions our Box Office will remain closed. Please direct all queries to ticketing@cglive.com.au – You can still purchase tickets 24 hours at northcotesocialclub.com.

Looking to buy or sell tickets for a sold out gig?

Tixel is our recommended resale platform for any sold out show. Tickets are verified and will be transferred to your details once purchase is finalised so you can feel secure in your purchase. Please contact the box office if you have any questions or check the show’s Facebook event for verified Tixel links or click here for a full list.

Why can’t a person under the age of 18 attend shows?

It is venue policy that all patrons in the bandroom be over the age of 18.

Are shows at the Northcote Social Club seated or standing?

All NSC performances are general admission & standing room only unless otherwise stated.

“I lost my ticket”

If you have misplaced your confirmation email containing the E-ticket(s) please email the Box Office on ticketing@cglive.com.au or phone 1300 724 867 and they can re-send.

Do you have wheelchair access?

There is wheelchair access via the middle door on High St. If this door is locked, please ask our staff for assistance if required.

What are the bookings fees for ticketing?

Booking fees are charged to cover bank fees and admin costs. Booking fees are NOT refundable.

Is there a smoking area?

The lower area of the deck has an open air section where smoking is permitted.

Can I bring recording devices like audio, tape, camera or film into the NSC?

No, you cannot record an artist’s performance. You would require permission from the artist and the venue as per the Copyright Act, as the performance is “owned” by the artist. The authority to allow or not allow such recording devices on the night rests with the artists performing and not the venue.
