COVID-19 FAQS

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING TO CREATE SAFE AND HYGIENIC VENUES ONCE YOU REOPEN?

As per the Public Health Orders, all staff and all visitors to the venue will be required to be vaccinated against Covid 19. A high level of cleanliness and sanitation is kept around the clock by dedicated Covid Marshalls and cleaning staff. Ventilation and physical distancing will be used to support other Covid safety measures that are outlined in our Covid Safe plan.

DO I HAVE TO WEAR A MASK?

Yes, you will be required to wear a mask as a condition of entry. Our staff may ask you to remove your mask momentarily so we can confirm your ID or for the safe sale of alcohol. Masks must be worn when moving around the venue. Masks can be removed once you are seated at the table so you can eat and drink.

HOW MANY CAN WE BOOK FOR?

You can currently book via our bookings page for up to 8 guests. Bookings are recommended as capacity is limited. For larger groups please contact the venue via functions@northcotesocialclub.com

HOW LONG CAN WE BOOK FOR?

We are currently offering sitting sessions of 2 hours. Head to our bookings page to book now!

WILL YOU TAKE OUR DETAILS ON ENTRY?

Yes, in line with the Public Health Orders you are required to check in using the venues Vic Services QR code. Your check tick will need to be confirmed by our staff before entering. You will also be required to provide proof of vaccination against Covid 19 for entry to the venue.

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO DO?

Wash and sanitise your hands regularly, wear your mask when leaving the house, maintain social distance and continue doing the right thing so we can see you soon.

Most importantly, respect our staff and security as they navigate the new regulations. 

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I EXPERIENCE ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOUR IN THE VENUE?

We strive to create a safe & inclusive space for everyone. If you experience antisocial behaviour in the venue please don’t hesitate to speak to a staff member.

LEAVING THE VENUE

When the event ends and/or you exit the building, you must:

1) Exit in an orderly and appropriate manner;

2) Follow the directions of staff to clear an area or access way;

3) Not cause undue noise or disruption to the adjacent amenity or neighbouring properties.

I PURCHASED A TICKET TO A SHOW THAT DIDN’T GO AHEAD. WILL I RECEIVE A REFUND?

Our bookings team are working to confirm new dates for all shows that were affected by Covid-19. All original tickets will be valid for shows on their new dates. All ticket purchasers should have been contacted via email with any info. Please contact the box office at ticketing@cglive.com.au for all further queries.

WILL YOU BE SCREEN THE FOOTY, CRICKET, SOCCER, SPECIAL SPORTING EVENTS?

We’ve got Fox Sports and show all of the AFL games live in season and any other sports worth drinking beer to the rest of the time.

I’M A MUSIC VICTORIA, RRR FM OR PBS FM SUBSCRIBER, HOW DO I REDEEM MY DISCOUNT?

NSC offers 10% off food & drinks for all Music Victoria, RRR FM & PBS FM members to say thanks for supporting our local music community. All you need to do is show your card at the bar at time of purchase to redeem. **Offer excludes functions & already discounted items.

CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS OVER THE PHONE?

Due to Covid-19 restrictions our Box Office will remain closed. Please direct all queries to ticketing@cglive.com.au – You can still purchase tickets 24 hours at northcotesocialclub.com.

LOOKING TO BUY OR SELL TICKETS FOR A SOLD OUT GIG?

Tixel is our recommended resale platform for any sold out show. Tickets are verified and will be transferred to your details once purchase is finalised so you can feel secure in your purchase. WHY CAN’T A PERSON UNDER THE AGE OF 18 ATTEND SHOWS?

It is venue policy that all our patrons be over the age of 18 in the bandroom. NSC does hold strictly under age events. See the Gigs page for details.

ARE SHOWS SEATED OR STANDING?

Some shows will be seated as mandated by the Victorian Public Health Orders as we Covid 19 restrictions change, outside of this performances are general admission and standing room only unless otherwise stated on the Gigs page.

“I LOST MY TICKET”

If you have misplaced your confirmation email containing the E-ticket(s) please email the Box Office on ticketing@cglive.com.au and they can re-send.

DO YOU HAVE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS?

There is wheelchair access via the middle door on High St. If this door is locked, please ask our staff for assistance if required.

WHAT ARE THE BOOKINGS FEES FOR TICKETING?

Booking fees are charged to cover administration and delivery costs as well as bank fees. Booking fees are NOT refundable.

IS THERE A SMOKING AREA?

The lower area of the deck has an open air section where smoking is permitted.

CAN I BRING RECORDING DEVICES LIKE AUDIO, TAPE, CAMERA OR FILM?

No, you cannot record an artist’s performance. You would require permission from the artist as per the Copyright Act, as the performance is “owned” by the artist. The authority to allow or not allow such recording devices on the night rests with the artists performing and not the venue.
