Hot Apple Band is Sydney’s most talented and tasteful revivalists of 60s/70s rock, folk and alt-country, fronted by multi-instrumentalists Jack Kinder and Lewis Mosley. Weaving a lush sound with vintage authenticity, Hot Apple Band brings the brilliance of George Harrison, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and Harry Nilsson into the modern day, like Daniel Romano, Weyes Blood, and The Lemon Twigs.
Lewis Coleman – the Beloved art-rock artist makes music that is “heady, bewitching, and ultimately immersive” (Clash Magazine). Offline, his new record out October 27 on Beloved Recordings, is sophisticated and honest, undulating through Colemans’ idiosyncrasies and observations, fluxing and unfurling through less familiar aspects of his identity in conspicuous and playful ways. Lewis is a much-beloved member of the Australian music ecosystem – Growing up with The Cactus Channel, Coleman has produced records with Mo’Ju and has been a valued band member with Ruby Gill, Chitra, Gabriella Cohen, Kat Edwards, Darvid Thor and Coda Chroma. Offline is a strut with Coleman and his friends, it’s a top button undone and coarse Indigo sheets, it arrives creased and complex like Coleman and can’t be ironed out.
Once the solo bedroom project of Jackson Pollerd (aka Polly), now the 6 piece rotating band of groovers, Polly and the Pockets deliver their unique brand of psych-drenched, groove-laden, kicking alt-rock. After releasing their debut album ‘Live to Love’ in 2023, Polly and the gang are working hard to keep your toes tapping and feet moving.
Kickstart your week and catch some incredible live acts, congregate with fellow music lovers, and enjoy a little sanctuary.
