THIS SHOW IS STRICTLY 18+
In what's set to be a highlight of the summer music season, acclaimed pop-rock legends Icecream Hands have just announced a huge Sunday afternoon show in Melbourne.
On Sunday November 24, the band return to the Northcote Social Club for a glorious matinee, supported by Sydney's Bryan Estepa and band.
It's a show brimming with their ARIA-nominated, Triple-J-dominated classics, as well as a sampler of stunning new tracks from their forthcoming new album - songs strong on irresistible hooks and exquisite harmonies, and which are already receiving a rapturous response from fans.
The band are in top form, after a series of big shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the ARIA nominated 'Sweeter than the Radio'.
Bandleader Charles Jenkins said “This is the classic 1999-2007 line-up of Doug, Smiley and Marcus, and in all honesty, I don't think we've sounded better together. We can't wait to play all the old songs again, alongside some of the new ones - which we're immeasurably proud of."
This is also the only chance to catch the wonderfully talented Bryan Estepa with his full band in Melbourne this year. The Guardian recently said this about Bryan: 'If he had been recording four decades ago he’d have been landing commercial FM airplay and big-bucks record deals'.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to experience Australian music at its finest, in a harmony-drenched Sunday session that'll have you home in time for dinner.
